As a core branch department has grown to eminence with renowned faculty, updated curricula, and clearly defined research areas. The three identified areas of academic curriculum and research are concrete, civil infrastructures systems and environmental engineering. The department understands the social responsibility of incorporating new materials to minimize construction residuals for the preservation of our environment. As the department has advanced laboratories, it is offering consultancy services to the Department of Water Resources, Govt. of Orissa. The department is providing consultancy services in all the areas of Civil Engineering. It offers B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes. The Department has following well-equipped laboratories not only to cater to the needs of the students but also to fulfill the experimental requirements of the research activities.
