•  Worked as a Scientist “C” in Central Mechanical Engineering Research institute. Durgapur in 1978-79, during, which a feasibility study on conversion of Spark Ignition Engine to Compression Ignition Engine was fully prepared and submitted to C.M.E.R.I. Durgapur.
•  Taught Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, I.C. Engines & Gas Turbines and Solar Energy Engg. in Post-Graduate level.
•  Guided Final Year students in Designing and Fabricating Solar Distillator in 1988 for their Project.
•  Guided final year students in Designing and Fabricating Automatic Drilling jig in !990 for their project.
•  Guided final year students in designing and fabricating a paraboidal concentrating collector for their project. Efforts are on to optimize the system to use it as a Solar Cooker in domestic front.
•  Worked as a Member in Examination Sub-Committee, Joint Entrance Examination.
•  Remained as a member of the Time-Table Committee of the College for several years.
•  Remained as a member of Library Committee for one year.
•  Remained as a member of Admission and Examination Committees of A.M.I.E. run by the College during evening hours.
•  Remained as Laboratory Co-ordinator for AMIE courses.
•  Conducted several local study tours for undergraduate students.
•  Remained in-charge of Applied Mechanics Laboratory for 3 years.
•  Conducted a 6 week Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp in UCE., Burla and P.G. Deptt. Sambalpur university as a member of the organizing committee of EDP in 1989.
•  Developed a Laboratory on Solar Energy for Undergraduate students.
•  Worked as a Coordinator in Seminar and Projects for Final year students.
•  Question setter for Utkal University and Examiner for Sambalpur and Utkal University.
•  Guided 1996 batches students to improve their placement problem on experimental basis and as a result, an overwhelming majority of students got placement in 1996.
•  An Energy Park worth of Rs. 4,04,500/- is sanctioned by M.N.E.S. to be set up in U.C.E., Burla under my Principal Investigatorship.
